In this term project, I will choose the theme of ecology to discuss my “geography”. Ecology includes animal, soil, temperature, water, rocks, and so on. These things always maintain our beautiful planet. Beautiful environment supporting the plant, animal and human’s growth. If there is no beautiful environment, what about earth will become? Can we continue to survive it? Can we stay with our family and happy everyday? The trend of global warming caused by human concern for the environment. Industrial development for some countries suffered serious air pollution. I choose from the ecology (environment) to discuss how I impact the world or how the world impacts me because I think environment for me is the most important. If there is no beautiful environment, how to have a healthy body, how to get along with family happy, and how to make money, how the economy developed, how the country has become stronger? So I think that a good environment is the most basic things in this world, but also very important.

The effect of globalization the one of them is environmental issue. Climate change will cause a disaster on the environment, and even lead to economic disaster. Acid rain, pollution of rivers, soil erosion will lead to the deterioration of environment. However, I grew up in China. When I was sixth grade, my family and I came to Shenzhen that in south China. I liked the environment in Shenzhen, there are full of trees and flowers beside the streets, the sky is blue, the air is fresh. But now there rarely seen blue sky, the air pollution is getting worse, rarely seen blue sky, more clouds. It reminded me should learn how to protect the environment, promote environmental protection, and make the environment better.

Each of us is a member of the Earth; we have an obligation to protect our own homes. Everyone’s living habits by the cumulative time some will impact ecology. Power generation process is cause a lot of pollution, carbon dioxide emissions and the greenhouse effect are caused by electricity generation leads to climate change. Moreover, smoke less, use car less chance, save electricity, save food, protection of forests, those can be a great help of the environment. I think I have obliged to do these points to protect the environment. Meanwhile, because of the bad state of the Earth effect me; so I know to pay attention to impact the world of improve the environment. Finally, that’s all for the world and our home.

My lifestyle has the essential  affected the environment. like I need electricity. I want to cooking, watching TV, shower, use a computer, to charge the phone. All the time to use electricity. I can not leave electronic devices. I can not do without a car. and How to classification the garbage. These are closely linked and the environment. Bad habits will destroy the bad environment. I think we should learn from the following to protect the environment.

We should not abuse resources, reduce damage to the trees of the forest.
Conserve electricity, water
Less driving car
Less smoking

Shenzhen is the place where I  living  in China. I came here with my family because Shenzhen  environment attract us.

But now, shenzhen like this

Why these changes？

Air pollution

Shenzhen's air quality is getting worse. Factory uninterrupted production, a lot of emissions.Like Foxconn, Foxconn is a group specializing in the production of electronic products in Shenzhen, a large scale of production. Apple's many products are from there.

Factory not only affect the atmosphere, but also affect the health of people who working on site. Large number of workers inhaled gas, so that their bodies seriously threatened.

Drive

The traffic of shenzhen is terrible. Almost every family have two cars. Automobile exhaust emissions to the atmosphere is very polluted.

water pollution

The water pollution has increased in shenzhen, in particular because a large living-point source pollutants and contaminants, directly or indirectly, into the waters. According to the monitoring data show that in 2014, the waters west of Shenzhen of water pollution levels compared to last year is slightly heavier,  (He, 2014)The main reason are, First, the  the impact of foreign contaminants. Through the economic development, produce large amounts of pollutants annually transported by river to the  open sea. Second, by the western coastal land pollution. and with a large population, large living pollution and  source pollution.

The birds are less in Shenzhen Bay

When I first came to Shenzhen, my family would take me to the mangroves to see waterfowl, the birds not only beautiful and has large number of waterfowl. But in 2014, the global synchronization of coastal waterfowl survey data show that Shenzhen's waterfowl continued to decrease in the number of this year compared to last year's, 17 percent reduction, especially in the most talked about rare birds black-faced spoonbill, this year only recorded 252.(SZ NEWS,2014) Ecological change and human disturbance or changes in the status of the most important reason birds. A large number of human beings will go to see birds, leading to an artificial environment pollution; and, soil and water quality to deteriorate, along with the deterioration of the ecological environment.

I like this program - earth hour. It let me see the people's actions and the hope of earth. I think the "earth hour" is a very good program, it is helpful to the earth's environment, let the human shape their geography.

Earth Hour
Earth Hour is a global activity and development in order to conserve energy. Advocates in March each year on the last Saturday night at 8:30. Home and business users to turn off unnecessary lights and power on the product one hour.
